Bondi is an iconic beach suburb in Sydney with a strong village feel making it a most sort after location to live in.

CAFES & RESTAURANT Bondi has a fantastic range of cafes and restaurants. FESTIVALS & EVENTS Bondi has a huge range of festivals and events throughout the year to keep an eye on. The Sculpture by the Sea festival is a popular outdoor visual art event that spans the scenic walkway from Bronte to Bondi. The annual Sydney City to Surf running/walking event attracts tens of thousands of participants with completion of the 14km race at Bondi beach. The Festival of the Winds is a colourful beach event with hundreds of kites flying above the skyline making it a beautiful sight to behold. The Bondi Pavilion is 'the centre of Bondi culture' with many annual festivals throughout the year, theatre, art gallery, music, & classes. And last but not least the very popular weekly Bondi Markets which is situated on the grounds of the Bondi Beach Public school, has some great up and coming designers, vintage wears, jewellery and fashion for sale.
BEACHES & PARKS Bondi Beach is the place to be on a sunny day - you might have to fight your way to find a spare patch of sand though as that's how popular it is! The Bondi to Bronte coastal walk is a most beautiful walk and a must for any visitors coming to visit you in your new suburb. The Bondi Beach Skate Park has great views over the beach while keeping skaters thoroughly entertained on a well constructed layout. There are a few recreational parks & sporting grounds in Bondi according to the Waverley Council website and these include Bondi Park; Dickson reserve; Memorial Gardens; Thomas Hogan Reserve & Barracluff Park.
TRANSPORT Bondi transport has a few options. There are buses going to and from the city from Bondi and Bondi Beach. For more options it is best to go to Bondi Junction which is approximetly 2km from Bondi Beach. Bondi Junction has a rail station so many more options there. Parking at Bondi is often an issue with it being such a big tourist hub. The Waverley council has parking permits to rate payers.
